im thinkin of buying a short shifter for christmas, and i was thinkin how a short shifter feels in our car because ive never driven a car with a short shifter. Especially in a st does the accerleration improve like in aggresive driving and stuff let me know. Where is a good place to buy a short shifter also?

short shifters have nothing to do with rpms. its simply a stick that decreases the shifting distance between gears so less time is spent with the clutch held down, which slightly improves acceleration.
