I don't know guys. Lately I've been wanting a Corolla AE86 real bad. I was looking to buy one last month but I really want to finish my GT-FOUR conversion project before anything.
Anyway, an awesome drift clip with a Corolla AE86 vs Skyline R34. Corolla AE86 vs Skyline R34 Drift Clip -------------------- |

QUOTE(95celgt @ Dec 10, 2006 - 1:48 AM) meh, I got all into 86's for the past months, worked on 2 of em, fun car, but a lot of work to keep them running smooth. My friend bough an SR5 project that we fully converted to GT-S with a car we found at a junk yard. we stuck a 4a-gze in it we tore out from a 88 mr2 we found for cheap, now its for sale. Also a Black 86 with a 4a redtop, which is getting all the attention now. As for me, i've gone back to my first car, i bought it back...My FC3S:) lol..i think your the first person ive ever heard saying that an AE needs alot of work to keep em runnin smooth compaired to an FC..lol If you have a strong 4A motor, it never needs antention besides changin the oil. My buddy had almost 500,000km on his 4age red top b4 he needed a rebuild. And its not like he babied that motor either, he was out drifting every weekend for both days at the only track near toronto that allows drifting witch was about 3 hours away..lol. If you have a good condition body and a strong 4a, you got one of the best cars toyota has ever made. |
