IMO it's a shame, and the end of an era at Toyota... I know the car is fairly polarizing thanks to its design and lower power output, but no one can deny the fact that it could handle curves like few others out there... The black on red makes me wish that they still were sold here so I could have the chance to possibly snatch one up

I was reading something about this last night. I was gonna post something but decided not to. But I'm glad you guys brought this up. Yeah, I don't know why they decided to stop productions on the MR-S aka MR-2 Spyder. The MR series were the only RWD they had left on the US market after the Sprinters. I don't know why Toyota is doing this? Probably becuz of the automobile competition in the market esp with the new Hondas that are coming out. But it really breaks down to who really buys their cars. But hey, they brought back the SUPRA, maybe they'll bring back the Celica and MR-2 as well in about 8-10 years.
