So I had another 7afe dropped in after I threw a rod in the last one. Unfortunately, I have no idea how many miles were on this motor sooo...yea I have my doubts. What should I do to check on the shape of this motor? I'd like to build it up and turbo it. What things should I be looking for?

a compression test on the cylinders is usually a good indicator to the condition of the engine.

any good mechanic. I'm not sure exactly what kind of numbers you should be looking for on a 7afe though.
