Hey all. I really hope this isn't a repost, but I was just curious to see about what people have blown on their 6gcs. (not including regular maintenence of course, just in upgrades)

QUOTE $0 in upgrades. to me, the 6th gen isn't worth it. i shouldn't have to swap a motor to get performance out of a car. it makes a great daily driver, maintenance is easy & cheap and it looks pretty good stock. besides, when you dump money in to a car, 99.9% of the time you never see it again. i'm actually hoping to get some cash for my celica when i'm done using it. Lol, the celica wasn't built for performance people. It was built for comfort and luxury, you can't tell me the 6gc isn't a nice car to drive in! Thats the main reason why I love my car so much... For those that fell in love with the comfort and style the celica has they may want to upgrade the performance to make it faster. Thats what I'm doing, installing a redtop beams in mine. I don't mind the sacrafice, its a hobby and I love my car. Celica's are cheap to buy, very comfortable, looks really nice, if you want performance out of it you can get it... But you have to buy it. If I were to buy a skyline or supra, would I not pay more? Mainly because your buying performance already in the car to begin with... Celica is cheaper and more comfortable IMO, and in many articles that people write about the celica, they agree with what Im saying. So everyone chill. So far I have around 4k invested in mine.. Like 2-3k for the beams alone, alot of modifications was already installed in the car when I got it. Body kit, rims, new paint job, really nice car.. Got to get some pics though.
