Not many people seem to be too into audio here. Just going to put up my current work in progress. This is a SQ setup. 3 way active front + sub. Headunit connected optically to h701 processor. All inputs welcome biggrin.gif

Gear:
Alpine 7998r fantomface headunit
Alpine F545 amps (2 of them)
Alpine CHA-S624 changer
Alpine H701 processor + Rux controller

Drivers:
Seas L18-RNXP 7" midbass
Hybrid Audio Legatia 3" mids
tweeters unconfirmed(DLS UP1C or seas neo)
Phase Linear Aliante 12" sub

TODO list:
- Cut kickpanel for install of 3" mids.(better pathlength difference and more footroom(no change from stock)
- Fiberglass kicks etc.
- Boot install
- Reinstall midbass drivers
- A pillar tweets

Aliante and legatias

Headunit installed in stealth manner:

This video I found, shows how it works:

Cable routing :
Convenient grommet next to battery in engine bay

Inside wheelwell:

Managed to fit the power cable through grommet.

Ran 3 sets of speaker wires. Midbass, mids, tweets. Making sure I have enough slack in the cables to not require a rerun.

Done:

Will cut my kickpanels. The bit of metal to the right of the speaker wires hanging down. 1mm -ish thick. will allow me to sink the 3inch midrange speaker deeper into kickpanels and also allow more footroom and minimise pathlength difference.

Trunk - About to embark on install -

still deciding if I should make my life hard and have side mounted amps or just go with false floor amp setup.
