Hello everyone,
After going without my 6th gen for about a year and a half, I finally got another one. I searched for a long time to get one in good condition. Anyway, I found one all the way in Bethesda, Maryland and it looked pretty good so I decided it was worth the trip up there from NC. 800 miles later and lots of driving, I finally have another 6th gen. It was a pretty fun trip, and the scenery in Virginia kept me from getting too bored. I wanted to go to Washington but didn't have the time. I left my house at midnight Friday and got there around 7 am Saturday. Now, some info about the car. It's a 98 GT 5 speed with 69,000 miles. I'm the second owner so I'm pretty excited cause I've never been the second owner of a vehicle before. Its good to be back driving a Celica; I missed it. The only plans I have as of now is doing a turbo set up possibly in the fall when I have more time and money. Being in college keeps you pretty broke and busy. And now for some pics... Washington!! At the dealership in Bethesda, Maryland. I got the car inspected to make sure it had no major problems. Virgina countryside. Its pretty nice up there. In its new home . Comments are appreciated . Oh yeah, to you guys in NC: I'm ready to have a meet . -Rob -------------------- |

Thanks guys. Yeah the rubber trip is ugly. If you notice in my pics you can see I removed the trim from the doors. I haven't removed the trim from around the wheels, is it hard to do cause I would like to do that next?
Thanks, Rob -------------------- |

Thanks, Rob nope, not hard at all. for me, i just pulled it off. there will be some adhesive left though on the body. just use some goof off and your set. by the way, very nice clean car you got there. cant go wrong with red. reminds me of when i got mine, except being an st. second owner at 33k -------------------- I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |
