I have an imported JDM ST203 with four-wheel steering. Best car i've ever driven (and that includes Scooby STi IV, Lancer Evo VII and Supra Twin Turbo). Not a lot of power, but handling out of this world.
Only problem is, it's restricted to 180km/h... There are Speed Cut Defenders available, but I've heard that all that's required is cutting one wire on the management computer. If anyone has any info or links it would be greatly appreciated. I am willing to experiment and post pics and results for other drivers with the same annoying problem. |

OK, so I cut the wire, (After disconnecting the negative battery terminal just to be safe).
I then got out on the road with great expectations, but alas, as they say... way too much traffic...I managed a quick 150km/h in a heavily developed industrial area, but no more than 170 on the main roads. got stuck behind crawling traffic the whole way. So I still don't know what happens at 180. Will post as soon as i know, i realise Slick is itching to try it out... |
