Now is the time to sell. I thought it would be the week where I will actually dish out money for my suspension, but my plans have been destroyed by a different car. My 97' will be forsale. Some modifications left to do. such as paint the trimmings and give it a deep wash.
Heres the new Toy for me. Should be easy to tell what it is. So Long. Time to move on to a different site to get and share my information! -Jasper |

i've done a metric ton of homework on the 7th gen. the 2zz is a decent motor, but Toyota sure does know how to make your wallet thin by trying to get some gains out of it.
save up 5 grand if you want boost, otherwise do some basic bolt on work. get a good intake, header, exhaust, butterfly mod, PFC, a good tune, lightweight flywheel, and try losing some weight on the car. the most important thing you could possibly do is figuring out how to stay in lift between shifts and know how to launch/drive the car. i hope you got an 01-03, those are the best years of the car, imo. higher redline and no drive by wire junk. i'm jealous, i want one! i just don't have the money and i can't see spending close to 10 grand on a highly used one cause i know i'll want to dump money in to it. have fun with your car and read up on newcelica.org for some more tips. |
