QUOTE(Punisher @ Jan 21, 2007 - 7:16 AM) http://dv.mistertam.com/4.htm Check it out.. looks a lot like my dyno graph huh? Turns out I put the diverter valve in backwards.. I seem to have an issue with installing things backwards huh? Honest mistake seeing as the valve didn't come with instructions and on Forges website they have instructions for installing on a vehicle that comes with a factory bosch recirc valve.. so no help there. I installed it in the most logical way I thought.. but anyway what is happening is the valve was opening and then closing.. which is why my boost/horsepower was fluctuating so greatly.. the forge website says that you can install it either way, and also, from the link that you just posted "The function and sole job of the dv is to maintain an air-tight seal during acceleration, and remain open at all other intervals. It's as simple as that. No matter which way you install it, there is pressure that's going to try to open up the spring and release air." |
