My friend was told he had to replace his PCV valve mmk... on his eclipse. So he did so and then i thought, wtf, i didnt even know what that was. I looked online, checked here looked around and i heard at one tiem that it was something people remove when getting turboed. I looked where mine was and removed it to look at it (engien was off) and there was oil on both ends of it... should i replace it or just leave it... and how do people bypass those... i heard something of a small breather filter put in to let the crankcase relieve any pressure and keeping it at atmospheric pressure and then capping off the air intake is that correct?

PCV from valve cover to a sealed can, from the sealed can to the intake end of the PCV.
