well today i was taking off my rims so that i could install my new springs. and on the front left rim i got all the nuts off except 1, and that one nutt twisted in half!!!! mad.gif so how in the world iam i suppose to get that nut off now?? anybody know? would a shop be able to get it off? the part thats still on the rim has no pattern on it for a socket to grab hold of..

I think some people are not understanding you here...

The bolt has broken inside his rim, your rim cannot come out right? Because all the thread are munched up. That last bolt is holding the rims to the hub.

The only way now is to drill it out, be careful not damaging the rim, if you damage the stud, you can still roll on 4 studs until you can get it fixed.

I would suggest getting new bolts too...you dont want that to happen again. A guy changing tire here told me he seen those types of bolt break often..the metal is so thin on the outside, just a little overtorquing is enough to break them.
