Well lets see here I'm the only person that has had a 3sgte front clip in his garage for the last year now. My first son was born. Now that my girl is back to normal and my son is healthy. And I don't have crazy doctor bills any longer. I can finaly get back to swap. Lets here I have the engine out of the front clip. So thats done now. I need a transmission I don't want to use the GT tranny, I don't want it craping out on me after a few good 1/4mile races. I got the alltrac frontclip when I should have just got the MR2 I was worried about prices stupid me. Well now I want the MR2 E-153 transmission, but I seen them with and without LSD what's the difference? What should I look for when I buy a transmission?
I've also been thinking about installing the JDM gauge cluster the one from the front clip. Is that something possible? or will the wiring be to hard? Also my 3sgte block has been in the garage for over a year. Do you think it's wise to take it apart to make sure it's not damaged. The ECU and things have been outside too, I know there isn't going to be any water damage but is there anything I should look for, To see if it's damaged? |

LSD:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_Slip_Differential Using the E153: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...856&hl=e153 ST205 Combo meter How-to: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=30411 I had my 3S out side for about a year... I'd only recommend that once you get the car running you flush the coolant system just to get rid of any rust that has built up on the inside of the blocks coolant passages. And change the oil at 500, 1000, and then 3000 miles. This post has been edited by WannabeGT4: Jan 31, 2007 - 8:30 AM -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
