Are these worth getting? 145K on my Cel GT 95. Original Shocks+Springs. Already ordered the KYB GR-2 SHOCKS STRUTS for it. Mechanic said should get springs too and put in at same time. Looking to not spend much. Also, these adjust 0-4". What is good one to adjust too? Just looking for a smooth ride. Thanks. |

QUOTE(nitemare @ Jan 31, 2007 - 10:09 AM) Not safe? In what regards? Are they going to snap or something while driving? Im not sure if the car will even last another 2 years. Im replacing springs that were originals - 150K, 11 years old. These new cheap ebay ones are gonna be worse? So these are alot better since they are not coilovers? Worth the extra $120? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...mMakeTrack=true OK. Looks like ill get these Teins. This will work with the KYB GR2 struts on 15'' rims ok? you're aiming in the right direction now, but just be carefull since most of the Teins springs on Ebay are FAKE, not all of them so just doble check. but Teins are good, take into consideration that they are lowering springs, so when you lower your car it will look better and have better handling but they'll feel a little bit bumpier than stock. I think most of the members here with lowered cars have Teins. the best for the money. -------------------- ![]() |
