Well lets see here I'm the only person that has had a 3sgte front clip in his garage for the last year now. My first son was born. Now that my girl is back to normal and my son is healthy. And I don't have crazy doctor bills any longer. I can finaly get back to swap. Lets here I have the engine out of the front clip. So thats done now. I need a transmission I don't want to use the GT tranny, I don't want it craping out on me after a few good 1/4mile races. I got the alltrac frontclip when I should have just got the MR2 I was worried about prices stupid me. Well now I want the MR2 E-153 transmission, but I seen them with and without LSD what's the difference? What should I look for when I buy a transmission?
I've also been thinking about installing the JDM gauge cluster the one from the front clip. Is that something possible? or will the wiring be to hard? Also my 3sgte block has been in the garage for over a year. Do you think it's wise to take it apart to make sure it's not damaged. The ECU and things have been outside too, I know there isn't going to be any water damage but is there anything I should look for, To see if it's damaged?

thats what I said man I don't want to pay more then 700$. I would rather see one around the 400-500$ price range hehe. But if the Transmission is in perfect condition and less then 30,000miles on it I would pay 700$

If your current transmission is in good shape you have another possibility... Get a busted MR2 E153 and use the parts from that transmission and your current one to make one good FWD transmission.

You will need to use a good transmission shop (unless you know how to do transmission internals yourself), but it really doesn't take that many parts to convert it.

You can use an open differential (from the normal MR2 transmission), stock VLSD (I have one for sale biggrin.gif ), or any aftermarket LSD (I used a KAAZ LSD in my converted ST205 transmission).
