Hi Silver94CelicaOwner,
Thanx for your help. As you said i got the Metra Amplifier Integration Harness and while working on the radio install i had 2 problems. Background: I have a Apline CDA9708 head unit. I pulled out the old unit and it had two wires, one the black ground, the other a slot that goes into the amp harness. I plugged in the metra harness to the one comming from the amp and the black wire to the ground in the head unit. Now i am faced with a problem. Problem 1: The Audio head has 3 pairs(white/red) of rounded slots and the metra harness has 2 pairs(pair 1:white/black, pair 2:voilet/green) pins...how do i match the Metra with the head unit. Problem 2: After i mounted the brackets onto the radio and when i place the radio in the slot. While i try to put back the dash panel, it can almost fit back in, but not completely...a small part of the bracket holds the dash from fitting in perfectly. The width of the new head unit is a little larger than the old head unit. Thanks for your help. Preetham. |
