So earlier tonight at a little past 7PM on February 3, 2007 on my way to my cousin's wedding dinner with my gf and bro, I became a Celica sandwich on 45 South. Traffic came to a stop on the highway, so the Evo 8 in front of me came to a stop and I came to a stop, but guess what? The ***** in the Solara behind me didn't!! So after exchanging information, we hung around and waited for the cops to show up. She seemed to give out her insurance info pretty easily like she has just accomplished a goal that's she's set for a long time. In the mean time, my brother was taken off to the hospital to be checked on and so did one of the passengers from the Evo. While waiting, the ***** had the f****n' nerve to come up to me and ask, "So what're we waiting for and who are you guys calling?"
Anyways, onto pics. There you go. pictures explain themselves. the dude in the Green Bay Packers jacket is my brother-in-law and former owner of the Celica. All in all, my car's being towed to an open lot; The lady's going to jail due to a suspended liscence, and I just spent 5 hours at the hospital waiting for my brother to be discharged. I hope my gf's gonna be fine in the morning. I know I'm gonna be sore as f**k in the morning. Anyways, I think I'll be buying the car back from insurance and will be parting it out along with possible my GT-4 conversion. If anyone needs anything from the interior, let me know. I seriously have a MINT interior. Driver's seat shows no wear at all. After all this, I don't know if I want to pick up another Celica, or maybe go after the Mk3 Supra that I've always wanted. If I do pick up another Celica, it'll probably have to be an All-trac or another 6gc for sure. I really loved this car and it saddens me to see it in this state and to possibly let it go. I think that's it for the night. I'll post more later on when I get some info. I need to call her insurance company in hopes that they can set me up with a rental car so I can go to school and work. -Alex Farewell, T-Spoon. You shall be missed by all those that loved and adored you. RIP (2/3/07) -------------------- -Alex {](O_o)[}

I'm at a lost now. I don't know what to do. I'm about to cry. I just got a letter from Geico that said:
"We have completed our coverage invertigation for the above loss. Please be advised that there is no coverage for the above referenced loss under our policyholder's Geico Indemnity policy. As such, we will be unable to make payment to you." I don't know how to feel right now. I'm pissed off, I'm sad, depressed. I don't know what to do.... -------------------- -Alex {](O_o)[}

QUOTE(NgoFcukinWay @ Feb 10, 2007 - 7:48 PM) I'm at a lost now. I don't know what to do. I'm about to cry. I just got a letter from Geico that said: "We have completed our coverage invertigation for the above loss. I don't know how to feel right now. I'm pissed off, I'm sad, depressed. I don't know what to do.... Ugh, I have a bad feeling that she was NOT cited and the cop left it up to insurance to fight about it. That's why I was asking you whether she was cited or not. In any event, should be able to sort it out, just won't be as smooth as could be hoped for. Don't worry, call you after a bit. Some insurance companys are pretty ****ty about that sort of thing, either Geico is one of them or they have bad info that we'll have to get corrected. |
