so I got hit by a truck today..., yea theres pictures Options

I was at work and they sent me to go get a battery from the other PepBoys. got sideswiped by a small truck, I'm not even really sure what happened it just sounded like the mirror got hit pretty hard so I looked over and it was folded in pretty far so I figured that was all that happened and kept going. I got to where I was going and when I was bringing the battery back to the car I see this...







I know its hard to see cause the car is really really dirty but the mirror is fine and the damage is much worse than I thought it was and now I have no info or anything on the truck.

thing is, I was on the clock when it happened and we aren't supposed to be driving our own car for work related things anyway. I spoke to my manager and he said tomorrow he'd make some calls and take care of me, which I'm hoping means they're paying to repair my car and get me a rental while its being worked on.

no worries just yet. we'll see what they say tomorrow.

Randy, you're lucky you only have a 2" spot! the fading on mine wasn't only on the passenger side, it was all the way across the bumper on that ledge (I just don't have a good picture of it). it was like that when I bought the car and I've tried everything (scratch remover, buffing, paint cleaner, you name it) with no luck... but repainting worked pretty well



I did get it back with a new problem though
