I was at work and they sent me to go get a battery from the other PepBoys. got sideswiped by a small truck, I'm not even really sure what happened it just sounded like the mirror got hit pretty hard so I looked over and it was folded in pretty far so I figured that was all that happened and kept going. I got to where I was going and when I was bringing the battery back to the car I see this...
   I know its hard to see cause the car is really really dirty but the mirror is fine and the damage is much worse than I thought it was and now I have no info or anything on the truck. thing is, I was on the clock when it happened and we aren't supposed to be driving our own car for work related things anyway. I spoke to my manager and he said tomorrow he'd make some calls and take care of me, which I'm hoping means they're paying to repair my car and get me a rental while its being worked on. no worries just yet. we'll see what they say tomorrow. Accidents are the worst! with all the down time and stuff, but it is pretty sweet to get your car back from the shop Painted waxed and ready to go home.  |
