How is the driving position? Every picture I look at I'm "impressed" by how low the shifter seems to be! In the celica it sits higher, just falls in your hand..It doesnt look comfortable, or is it? By the way, in canada they are called SIR. i dont know but i guess it's how the person drives and how long of a reach they have...i must admit the civic does have a nice shifter position...the seats are not comfy...it feels like sitting on a bench... if you didn't hear anything, than the car you were driving probably wasn't running properly. I'm sorry but it's freakin impossible NOT to hear vtec on this thing... it sounds like another engine turns on. Rayme, as for the driving position, I like the celica better, and so does my husband. It's closer to you. And yes, this is the canadian version, it's a 99 Civic Si-R Here's a pic of it, the front lip & gramlights are off for winter right now, so it's sittin on steelies, but I still like it -------------------- |

QUOTE(95gtschick @ Feb 20, 2007 - 9:04 AM) That car is clean. I love that lip. I think it would look better if it was painted though. I have the type R one on my civic. Anyway, civics are great cars. Aside from being super comfy, there's nothing special about their interior or seats. They are very roomy compared to celicas, but they can't match the celica's handling. My civic isn't an SI but I think it picks up pretty quick for an automatic. I beat it everywhere and I absolutely LOVE it. |
