So I'm trying to get the throttle body off and I break the nipple off the EGR Vacuum Modulator. Here I am trying to fix the idle issue and I smoke the EGR part. Let me guess, $100? and I bet I wont even fix the idle problem. Besides that I can't get the 2 of the 3 hoses of the bottom of the throttle and I'm not about to find out how much a replacement hose is. Sorry, had to vent.

Actually Lucky Star didn't have it, they wanted to sell me the whole engine,lol. I got it from Mitoi in Brampton.
So now that I have the engine running, my emergency brake seized up inside the rotor. This car is gone after I'm done. I've done brakes 3 times on the rears with the same results of the E-brake seizing. I've worked on it, Toyota had a stab at it and my mechanic friend helped me do entire overhaul just last November. Too bad because the car runs great, but not like my 92 Alltrac. |
