Well I've about finished my audio/video setup and I thought I would share some pics cause I'm very proud of the work I have done so far. This is all 100% my work but I have a local Audio shop that gives me parts at near cost because of the thousands of dollars in business that I bring them every year + I've been buying exclusivly from them for like 10+ years so the owner and I have become good friends.
I have yet to clean up the wires because due to my ignition upgrades I still can't kill the alt noise although I have done all the necessary precautions and I've even gone so far as to wrap my RCA cables in 3/8" fuel line so as to better insulate them but still can't kill it. It is greatly reduced though. Funny thing is I do custom steups for tons of Toyotas in the Houston area and not one of them has had even a hint of alt noise. My friends at the audio shop and I have tried everything we could think of but we think it's the ignition upgrades that are doing it.
Anyway my setup at the moment consists of:

Sony Explode Black out style fold down head deck with Atrac3
Audiovox 7" widescreen [front]
Audiovox 5" widescreen [rear]
Rockford-Fosgate P1 15" subwoofer (For daily driving - easily removable for race days)
Rockford-Fosgate Fanatic Series Component 6.5"s/Tweets with crossovers in rear
Rockford-Fosgate 3002 Amplifier for 15"
Rockford-Fosgate 4004 Amplifier for interior speakers
three-way electronic crossover
Custom Leather covered Sub Box with Celica Badge and chrome handles for removing
Rockford-Fosgate Amp wiring Kit
Rockford-Fosgate 3-way Power Splitter

The first 3 pics are the latest and you can see the Leather I wrapped the Sub Box in [don't know why my custom strut tower brace looks bent but it's arrow straight - must have been the camera]. You can see that I used some extra chrome faces from a R-F 3002 amp for the handles which works really well and makes the box match the amps.

This pic you can see what a mess my wires still are but I'm still trying to kill the signal noise. I'll hide them all when I'm done. Also the trunk needs to be vacuumed after all the work LOL. That's a Scion First Aid Kit from the tC I used to have and the bag that holds all my car cleaners, rags and towels. The R-F on the amps light up and respond to the music when being played. Looks really cool at night with the seats down.

The next 2 pics are slightly older but you can see the placement of the rear 5" Audiovox Screen. The front 7" Audiovox Screen is just a portable DVD player for right now but I wired it with extra length so it can move to any of the 4 seats. I will be replaceing it with a permanent screen and DVD player [maybe in-dash] in the future. Notice the box still has the carpet on it and no leather yet.

Better pic of the screens. LOL. Put Fast and the Furious on for you guys. The seats don't have that velvet just thrown over it anymore. I finished that job for now too but that's another subject.
IPB Image
The carrying bag for the portable screen, wires and movies. After the Leather job I made this spot where I keep my tool kit and 4-way tire tool etc and I'm working on makeing a lid for it - that's why you see the extra leather in the top pics to the left of the box. If I can get the lid to come out right and wrap it with leather too that will look really clean.

Future upgrades planned:
-Use the two open channels for R-F 8"/Tweet components speakers up front
-Permanent DVD player either in the glove box or an in-dash dvd/screen
-KILL SIGNAL NOISE!!!!
-clean up the wires and reinstall my 7th gen Cargo Net

So what do you guys think? As I said I'm about 80% done and I'll be using the remaining 6 months of car payments to do the above future plans and a few exterior mods I've been wanting [GT-4 hood, OEM Front Splitters, Ding Removal etc.]. After that it's back to nothing but Performance mods including the renewal of progress on my 5S-FTE project or scrapping that and 3rd Gen 3S-GTE swap. Thanks for any comments or suggestions you guys may give.

BTW - Does anybody know of any polish that will take out the scratches on the chrome peices on the Amps and Sub Box?

That's alt whine. The problem is in the wiring between cig lighter [the worst way to get power for audio systems I have since found out] and the in-dash. So that just leaves the wiring for the DVD player. Rewire your DVD to the head deck power and should fix everything.
This is only if the CD/Radio works with no signal noise. If you have noise through that component then you have problems there and the fix gets more complicated.
Hope this helps.
