 Burning Oil |

I just changed my oil maybe 1200 miles ago. Today i was bored and decided to check how it, turns out Im only halfway to full, meaning my car is burning alot of oil. What could be causing this, i've never seen any smoke, and only occasionally do i beat on her.

no burning smell, no smoke, you sure your buring it and not leaking?
it could just be a leak lower on the engine so you wouldnt smell or see it. any spots on the ground under the car?
