I am receiving conflicting information in regards to bringing a celi form canada.

On one hand there are najillion rules to follow as well as epa laws etc etc.
On other side its a quick crossing border swapping cars and driving back to homeland. In my case it would be an option of meeting at niagra falls location on US side.

So here is the question .. what am I missing. As per allowable vehicles 94 celica is not mentioned at all.. and its not a gt-4 so it should meet standarts.. but there is not enough information that says.. ok if you want to import a celica.. just like one sold in usa.. you need to do...... or you should be fine just registering it...

as per New Jersey DOT it says all I have to do is provide bill of sale and proof of insurance.
as per importation rules and regulations I have to get consent from toyota manufacture in california, get car inspected for alien species, meet and pass epa regulations etc etc.

Anyone here done anything like this?

no...mine dont have SS

How would you know? I believe the sport suspension is just a sealed strut - which is why some of the GT guys over here have problems when installing springs and such, because they cannot just purchase the inserts for their current strut.
