QUOTE(Dr_Tweak @ Mar 21, 2007 - 5:57 PM) QUOTE(Culpable04 @ Mar 21, 2007 - 9:27 PM) I've seen a couple, but I don't have pics. it no diferent than a 3SGTE on a Celica ST. but you posted this on the wrong section. Someone will move it to the Off topic Except that you can't use GT mounts, GT axles, and a bolt in a GT transmission, nor use GT a/c lines, GT p/s lines, or... well, anything. So basically it's completely different than a 3SGTE on a Celica ST. And despite the fact that I've been pushing to do this swap for the last year or so, no one's bit yet and as far as I know, no one in the US has done it. However, I am doing a wiring harness in the next couple of weeks for a 3SGTE into a Corolla, so that will be interesting to see. I've seen a few of them down down in the Phillipines and maybe Jamaica. -Doc I don't know all the details of the set-up, what I meant was that is just as possible as a 3SGTE swap on a Celica ST, and you're probably right, I don't know of a 3SGTE swap in a Corolla here in US but I do know of 3 corrollas with 3SGTE in Dominican Republic. there is also a AE86 with a 1JZ in it. we have a lot of crazy people with time on their hands and lot of skills -------------------- |
