Ok, how can i tell when my clutch is starting to go? I recently got my second celica (this time manual), the car has 97k miles, and comparing it to my 99civic with 142k miles, the clutch seems not as grabby, and significantly easier to push down. Im not sure how well the owner before me drove it though, the clutch just seems quite different than my civics (i know they vary between cars) but...
what are the symptoms?, sorry if this has been coverd, i couldnt really find anything.

its just like beno said but i heard to test to see if the clutch is good was to start off if 5th gear wink.gif and if the car doesnt stall your gonna need a new clutch soon. I personally was able to get the car rolling in 2nd but 3rd gear is a bit harder i stalled out. Don't do the test too many times you might cook the clutch.

the clutch is easy to push down cuz its a soft clutch. maybe the last owner of ur civic put in a stage 2 or stage 3 clutch which is harder?
