Ok, how can i tell when my clutch is starting to go? I recently got my second celica (this time manual), the car has 97k miles, and comparing it to my 99civic with 142k miles, the clutch seems not as grabby, and significantly easier to push down. Im not sure how well the owner before me drove it though, the clutch just seems quite different than my civics (i know they vary between cars) but...
what are the symptoms?, sorry if this has been coverd, i couldnt really find anything. This post has been edited by DSToyo: Mar 29, 2007 - 7:49 PM |

also, if its going out rapidly, when you shift as soon as you come off the clutch hit the gas, not too hard put get down on it some and if your engine rpms shoot up without you accelerating to accompany that rpm boost, then your clutch is slipping.
