my 92 gt recently had an engine fire so i have the opportunity to purchase a 96 st. how reliable are the st,s and are theyre any upsides to gettin one?

St is a basic model so its a $ saver for sure and you can get some good long life outta it..
the motor is highly reliable and dependant requires very little maintenance. lots of room to work on crap and normally pretty darn easy. gas can be expected to be very nice no the pocket too  but if you like a little more oomf in your step i'd look into a gt the st is fairly slow
