Ok, how can i tell when my clutch is starting to go? I recently got my second celica (this time manual), the car has 97k miles, and comparing it to my 99civic with 142k miles, the clutch seems not as grabby, and significantly easier to push down. Im not sure how well the owner before me drove it though, the clutch just seems quite different than my civics (i know they vary between cars) but...
what are the symptoms?, sorry if this has been coverd, i couldnt really find anything.

Mine was completely stock. I really only buy cars from old people.

The clutch seemed really responsive, well, up until I tried to teach the mrs how to drive a stick and heard her repeatedly rip it's heart out and shake it up aka dropping it. I don't know how it is since then. One of my buddies is borrowing it. Smelled like sh*t though after that. frown.gif

Then she asked for me to teach her on the celi.

lol.
