okay im getting frustrated wit this amplifier. i don't know whats wrong wit it, it keeps going to protect. once i turn on the headunit the amp turns to red for a second and then turns off... y?? i also switched ground.. any ideas?...where do you guyz place your negative ground? please help

where in the your car is the amp located?

my amp is in the trunk wit the 12 inch sub...
