I was talking about cars with my professor a couple of days ago and he asked me if I've ever heard of California shifting. I was like what the hell is he talking about? Then he explained and said that theres a point in the rpm range where you can just shift without touching the clutch. He told me to try it out, but I just got the clutch replaced and scared of busting it. Maybe he was talking about them muscle cars with the slap stick.

QUOTE small gap 100-200rpm Anyone want to try and let me know. He told me about being able to hear the engine and knowing when to shift. Its very interesting. -------------------- 98 Celica gt red- totaled deer
