I need some forged rods for my 7a-fe, i will be using wiseco forged pistons listed for a 4a-ge (same bore) but i need forged rods with a stroke of 3.36" or 85.5mm
i have searched for rods with that length and the closest i can get is 3.38"/86.0mm listed for a 2JZ-GTE. the length seems good but will the rods fit correctly? any help would be great. thanks, dustin |

alright, thanks man, ill check it out.
but while i was searching i did come across a tech article about converting a 4a-ge to a 7a-gze and they mentioned knowing someone with forged rods for a 7a-fe. he didnt mention who had them or who made them or whether they were custom or not, just that they do exist. forged rods are a critical peice of the puzzle.
