Ok so I just put a MBC on my car last night. No matter how far up I crank it, I wont boost over 5 psi. I spliced into the turbo pressure vaccum hose (between the turbo and the wastegate), ran that to the INLET of the mbc. Then ran the OUT on the mbc to the wastegate. I then pinched off the vaccum hose that is on the other side of the wastegate. I believe it goes to the factory boost controller. What am I doing wrong?
I know I have to disable the tvsv. Can anyone confirm if its the blue connector under the intake? Thanks This post has been edited by toyotacrazy: Apr 4, 2007 - 6:22 PM |

I dont think you have this hooked up correctly. If you have the stock CT26 the wastegate is internal and you shouldnt be hooking up anything to or from that. You should be bypassing the lines to the actuator.

You should be bypassing the lines to the actuator. He is talking about the WG actuator. You don't bypass them, you put the BC in the middle of the one from the turbo to the actuator, just like he said. -------------------- ![]() |
