Ok so I just put a MBC on my car last night. No matter how far up I crank it, I wont boost over 5 psi. I spliced into the turbo pressure vaccum hose (between the turbo and the wastegate), ran that to the INLET of the mbc. Then ran the OUT on the mbc to the wastegate. I then pinched off the vaccum hose that is on the other side of the wastegate. I believe it goes to the factory boost controller. What am I doing wrong?
I know I have to disable the tvsv. Can anyone confirm if its the blue connector under the intake? Thanks This post has been edited by toyotacrazy: Apr 4, 2007 - 6:22 PM |

Bad word usage, didn't mean bypass as I meant "interrupt" I suppose.
There should be a hose coming from the compressor side of the turbo, to the actuator. This is the line you need to place the MBC on. Then cut & plug the line from the actuator to the TVSV, which you probably already have done. -------------------- |

Im plugging the hoses going to the oem boost controller. Before I crimped it with vise grips. Ill keep you posted. |
