Ok so I just put a MBC on my car last night. No matter how far up I crank it, I wont boost over 5 psi. I spliced into the turbo pressure vaccum hose (between the turbo and the wastegate), ran that to the INLET of the mbc. Then ran the OUT on the mbc to the wastegate. I then pinched off the vaccum hose that is on the other side of the wastegate. I believe it goes to the factory boost controller. What am I doing wrong?
I know I have to disable the tvsv. Can anyone confirm if its the blue connector under the intake? Thanks This post has been edited by toyotacrazy: Apr 4, 2007 - 6:22 PM |

QUOTE(Supersprynt @ Apr 4, 2007 - 8:06 PM) Wait, you did what? You crimped what exactly? I pinched off the 2nd hose coming from the wastegate actuator to the boost control vsv. I believe Im suppost to cap them both off. Before I just pinched the line with vise grips. I fixed that now. I even tried flipping the hoses on the mbc, no change. Im starting to think that the mbc is a POS! I think Im going to go back to a stock setup, get my exhaust so it will boost normally and drive it! I guess Ill try to get my money back on the mbc. Thanks |
