Ok, how can i tell when my clutch is starting to go? I recently got my second celica (this time manual), the car has 97k miles, and comparing it to my 99civic with 142k miles, the clutch seems not as grabby, and significantly easier to push down. Im not sure how well the owner before me drove it though, the clutch just seems quite different than my civics (i know they vary between cars) but...
what are the symptoms?, sorry if this has been coverd, i couldnt really find anything. This post has been edited by DSToyo: Mar 29, 2007 - 7:49 PM |

QUOTE I personally was able to get the car rolling in 2nd but 3rd gear is a bit harder i stalled out. yeah, i can start in second with my ST, but 3rd she chokes out on me, and your clutch may be fine, sometimes mine acts up, but then sometimes its like brand new. i think the weather around here messes with mine, when its cold out it acts like it wants to slip, but when its warm its grabbing as soon as i touch the pedal -------------------- |
