Ok so I just put a MBC on my car last night. No matter how far up I crank it, I wont boost over 5 psi. I spliced into the turbo pressure vaccum hose (between the turbo and the wastegate), ran that to the INLET of the mbc. Then ran the OUT on the mbc to the wastegate. I then pinched off the vaccum hose that is on the other side of the wastegate. I believe it goes to the factory boost controller. What am I doing wrong?
I know I have to disable the tvsv. Can anyone confirm if its the blue connector under the intake? Thanks This post has been edited by toyotacrazy: Apr 4, 2007 - 6:22 PM |

when I took the mbc apart there was a spring and a diaphram. I hooked it up every way except on the side of the wastegate line that wraps around the intake manifold. I think thats what I need to try next. It may need to take place of the factory switching valve.
