Ok so I just put a MBC on my car last night. No matter how far up I crank it, I wont boost over 5 psi. I spliced into the turbo pressure vaccum hose (between the turbo and the wastegate), ran that to the INLET of the mbc. Then ran the OUT on the mbc to the wastegate. I then pinched off the vaccum hose that is on the other side of the wastegate. I believe it goes to the factory boost controller. What am I doing wrong?
I know I have to disable the tvsv. Can anyone confirm if its the blue connector under the intake? Thanks This post has been edited by toyotacrazy: Apr 4, 2007 - 6:22 PM |

I have my car back to a stock setup. I know that my stock exhaust is restricting the turbo. So I unbolted the exhaust at the end of the flex pipe. I am boosting 8-9 psi. Safe mode (when its cold) is 5 psi. So there is something wrong with my car? Im pretty sure my gauge is accurate, because when I had washers between the wastegate and the turbo housing, to increase boost pressure by tricking the wastegate, I unhooked my exhaust and I hit fuel cut at 14 psi. Now I took the washers out and its back to stock setup, Im only boosting 8-9 psi. Whats wrong with my car????? I just want to boost 10-12 psi.
