Hi All,

Just got my first Celica today - '95 GT smile.gif ...and was under the distinct impression that it had ABS. Now after a little investigation and reading back over the threads i'm a little concerned! I have seen engine bay pictures and they show a small box with the tubes coming out on the lower left hand side of the engine bay - I don't have this...nor do I have the ABS dash light. However, when I'm braking (normally) I'm getting a lot of pulsing and feedback through the brake pedal. We tested the brakes in the usual fashion for ABS and the wheels locked up. I thought ABS was as standard??

Now worried that the pulsing means a pretty warped brake disc frown.gif ... any thoughts?!

Cheers

I believe ABS is an option.
Though you have a UK car, so it's not exactly the same as US stuff.

Get your rotors checked out.
