so, i desperately need a new laptop. i was looking at a sony vaio, but i want to get the best for the money. i am absolutely clueless at this kind of thing.

alienware is overpriced... does falconnorthwest and voodoopc still exist? they all make custom gaming pcs/notebooks like alienware too... but all pricy
i'm actually surprised so many ppl recommend acer and not many ppl here mention asus... cuz asus is actually pretty popular up here while acer isn't -------------------- |
