Well, my Celica........died. and I had the mechanic give me an estimate, and it's gonna be like $7,000 to fix it, and the car is only worth like $4,500. So I'm getting a new car. any suggestions on what I should get?

QUOTE(6strngs @ Apr 14, 2007 - 2:01 AM) you could probably get another used 7afe for like $500. maybe less. maybe spend a couple hundred more to have it rebuilt. then just drop it in. I don't see it costing 7,000 unless he bought the engine brand new from the dealership piece by piece and put it all together. I got my 7AFE for 300 and 300 for installation with new gaskets, water pump , timing belt , all fluids and spark plugs and warranty on top of that. for 7 K I can go pick up your car, bring it to my mechanic have it all done drive it back and then go on vacation for like 2 months with the rest of the money. -------------------- |
