O2 Sensor :(, CEL came on last night Options

On my way home last night from the mushroomhead concert my check engine light came on. I pulled off the road, checked the oil and checked for any apparent damage to the engine and nothing was wrong. I drove home. This morning i got up and did the check engine thing with the paperclip (thanks how-to articles!) and found out I have error code 27, which just so happens to be the same code that was used in the article.. 2nd O2 Sensor is bad. My problem is I dont have a second o2 sensor anymore, becuase i never hooked it up when i got my headers. Is there a way to reprogram the ecu?

the only way i can possibly think of re wiring the o2 sensors is to cut the 2nd o2 sensor wires and tap into the wires or wire of the 1st one, sorry i didnt pay attention to how many wires there are, but i wouldnt suggest doing this because im not totally sure how this would work out.
