Yeah so my swaps complete, and well the engine is running...funny?
I'll pull on the throttle and it'll hang up on the rpm's for a couple extra seconds, and also theres a small sputtering that u can only hear when your by the exhaust.

argh! mad.gif

Aight so, this is what happened. Alot of you might not know what im talking bout but just bear with me. Theres a nipple that comes outta the throttle body, and theres a nipple that comes outta a hose, im not sure where it comes from, but it ultimately goes into the intake. Well, logic was telling me that these 2 should go together. Well, the car ran, but ran high RPMs and hung up there at like 1500 (im not sure if its accurate cuz of ongoing problems). Well today after fooling around with everything else, i decided to disconnect these and plug them, now the car runs fine.

Problems now include - very inaccurate RSM (might need further calibration). Rev Limiter kicks in at around 5000rpms (according to ST204 gauge) which may not be accurate but the RSM is reading 2400 when it does that. Sooo lets play some more.

Oh yeah, i cant really hear the turbo, but if it wasnt working, i dunno if the car would even run.

when i was in a 300zxTT it would not allow the turbo to spool unless the car was moving.

also, from videos of mr2's the boost gauge doesnt go to positive utill after the launch.

i may be wrong but you probably could cause the turbo to spool by closing the waste gate, which i think is electronically controlled on most factory turbo cars
