I'm looking for a stock amplifier for the premium 8-speaker system. It's the one mounted beneath the climate control in the center panel. I was working to adjust the mounting position of my lcd monitor when I pulled the amplifier harness a little and I heard a spark and my stereo system shut off (i'm not sure what happened exactly, my wires are pretty much sealed and covered??, would the antenna wire (the thick black wire with the metallic tip) touching the amplifier case cause anything?). Anyway, I tested out the amplifier, apparently, the ignition power (yellow) wire on my metra harness coming from the amp is no longer working, even when the ignition is set to Acc and On. And I have another inline fuse on the ignition wire from the harness to the stereo and that's not blown either. So i'm pretty sure i fried my amp somehow..

The amp will strictly have to be off the 8 speaker system, as according to the EPC, the 6 and the 8 speaker amplifiers are different.
Part number for the 8 Speaker System is: 86280-20371 or 86280-20370
Part number for the 6 Speaker System is: 86280-20401 (which btw is not what i need)

Driving conditions are getting really nice here and I hate to be driving without music. I'm hoping someone here might have one available.... otherwise, i'll be forking out over $400 for a brand new one if i don't get one within the next 2 months or so.

If you have one. pls let me know, i'll be going on a short vacation to Miami in 3 weeks for 2 weeks so i'd like to get one as soon as possible. thanks! smile.gif

I still have mine as I replaced everything in there with aftermarket stuff, its probably at home and hey I'm in Canada too! lol.

Its in my parent's garage probably, I won't be going there for at least 3-4 weeks.
