I have a 7AFE and want to put in a 3SGE in it. Will i need a whole front clip to do it to avoid buying other parts? Will I need to do all new wiring for it? New ECU? Will the engine fit right in or will I have to build new support for it? I'm thinking about trashing my 7AFE turbo and putting the 3SGE in. My Engine has high miles on it and its not worth the work to rebuild. Any help would be appreciated. Wondering if I could get a list or something of stuff to to to complete the swap, I havent really seen anybody do a 3SGE before, just a 3SGTE.

The 3SGE and its harness is from 1987. I know only that the engine has 2000cc volume and 110kW. I cant recall, but i think, that i get the 3S-GE transmission axles also with deal. Can these axles be used? that engine has 135 HP stock plus is a 20 year old engine, I think is not worth to put in your car, I mean the amount of work require won't be compensated with the results, if you're really up for this, try to get a better deal on the car ( the shell ) with no extras and source a newer engine. -------------------- |
