Can I have a witness that 215/40-17 wheels/tires (or larger) will work on a 94/1.8/liftback with 1" drop (or lower).
Tirerack can't be sure about backspacing and such. Thanks. -------------------- |

I have 205/40R-17 tires with about 1.5"-2" drop and I don't have any issues. I would suggest 215/45R-17 though, it is a very common size here. It is much more comfortable to ride on.

QUOTE(95CelicaST @ Apr 30, 2007 - 4:19 PM) I have 205/40R-17 tires with about 1.5"-2" drop and I don't have any issues. I would suggest 215/45R-17 though, it is a very common size here. It is much more comfortable to ride on. Thanks. Tirerack's got lots of 40's but I'll check out the 45's in the interests of wheel bearings and not having to pee every ten miles. I'd be even more elated if someone has 215's or wider, perhaps with an offset near 40mm... -------------------- |
