I have heard people mention it but haven't seen one.
I haven't swapped so the opening is directly over my
distributor on my 7A. I could probably make one easy
enough if I knew what it looked like. I thought about using
some 1/16" thick abs and cutting the shape on a cnc and mounting
it under the grate if anyone else needs or wants one I should be
making mine sometime in the next few weeks. If anyone has a
pic of a real one It would be greatly appriciated. smile.gif

Here is the material I selected. This side is scratched up because it has no protection and it's stocked in large sheets that rub together when moved:

This side tho has a white sticker that doesn't leave any stickyness on it and protects the look of the brushed aluminum. it will look very good after the sticker is removed. This makes it easier to machine the stuff and have it still look good afterwards. This would probably be the side we painted. I think regular high temp engine paint would work out well:

I only have about 6' of this stuff so I can't supply material for everyone but I would be willing to cut enough for 3-4 peices. I'd donate one for 97lestyousay and one for Pressure2 [for all the help you've given me with the 5S-FTE project]. I'm sure I could order more but we would have to pay for it. Also I work in CAD so if you need any help with a detail drawing let me know.
BTW - the stuff is .065 thick so a little over 1/16". Probably 1/16" with the sticker removed [it's pretty thick].
Weird that we were both going for the devil horns look. Hope this helps.
