drivers side:
front: pass side: back: close up of drivers side fender dent: another front: hood clear coat bubble: passenger side dent behind door: spoiler clear coat: interior: 2nd Gen JDM 3sgte Precision Turbo FMIC Upgraded CT26 (T04E 46 trim and 10* clip) 2.5" Aluminum Intercooler Piping full 3" exhaust 3" (reinforced) SS Autocrap Downpipe 3" High-Flow Cat 3" Magnaflow Mufflef Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pulley Centerforce stage 3 dual friction clutch forge 007 diverter valve greddy profec b spec II new plugs/plug wires/cap/rotor/coil 16xk miles on chassis, not sure on motor as i bought from someone on the site who bought from someone else on the site. rear brake conversion is done new rotors/pads in back comes with 17" scion Tc wheels with 225/45/17 khumo ecsta asx's on the back less than 1000 miles on them the bad: the shell needs a paint job, right now theres a dent in the passenger side behind the door and a dent in the drivers side fender real low, the doors are also touch up painted red so its not as shiny as the rest of the car but it doesnt look bad, theres also clear coat bubling in places. inside is pretty good, completely stock, there is a vdo boost gauge in the glove box that i use for looking for vac leaks, but for boost i use the greddy profec b spec II. the car has power steering but no a/c the compressor is hooked up but the lines are not, i have the lines at home the only thing youd have to buy is a condensor. engine runs strong, the tranny shifts fine but sometimes can be notchy, third gear clunks if you try to shift fast and hard. i also think that the rear struts may be going bad as the ride is a little stiff, i was waiting to replace them because i was gonna buy some teins. i have put a lot of time and money into this car but now that i am going to be living at college year round and i have no space to work on a car the car just sits, id like to buy a econobox daily driver and get a job and get my life on track. id say that this car would be perfect for a project car because its ready for your molding, there are no exterior modifications and its got a 3sgte swap, if the car gets a paintjob and the few small repairs are made on the engine the car would be worth way more, but im pricing this thing to sell and im also pricing it to what i think id pay for the car. im located in towson, md. price is 4500 as said in title, i feel this is fair considering there are a lot of good aspects of the car and it could be daily driven, it passed maryland state inspection like 3 months ago and i havent really driven it much since then. some of you may remember my last post, well since then (price stays the same, and many people think it is a fair price) i have done: helicoil the head, all new exhaust manifold studs, exhaust manifold resurfaced, and new gasket from turbo manifold and manifold to head. switched to redline gear oil, shifts a lot smoother, also installed a short shifter. added a recirc valve, and a custom intake made by lagos, and added a brand new black greddy profec b spec II, and i also got a new alternator, new starter, and new battery (optima red top), so pretty much everyone thought the price was fair back the first time, now i added about 1000$ worth of goodies and maintenance on my quest. i personally feel the car is pretty damn close to being a daily driver, so i guess you could say this time i am selling for a little bit of a different reason, i kind of want to move on, i however am in no hurry to sell this car, so i will wait till i get what im asking for it. post any questions here, i will check this thread very religiously, and will be perfectly honest about any question you ask. Ok, sorry brian, it has been a crazy two and a half weeks here..And have been unable to spend any time online.. I must apologies for my absent responses.....
here is the deal, my days off have been split, and so trying to get w/ my ex, to get to the bank has been difficult.... end result though is that I am unable to get the financing necessary to purchase your car... I/we attempted to get loans from 4 different banks (2 of witch are credit unions) yet all of my attempts have failed... the last one being this morning.. Unfortunately she does not have the credit necessary to take out the loan... This morning was my last option, sorry bud, does not look like it will happen for me. To all who are looking at this car, I would like to let you know a few things: First, I have never seen a 3sgte swapped celi in person, but have worked on MANY different cars.... *all of the photo's that brian has pasted of the (minor) body damage, is accurate, and there is nothing that he is hiding. *as far as swaps go, this is one of the cleanest (and tightest fit) swaps that I have ever personally seen. Though, the car was a bit dirty, you all know what I mean by "clean" in terms of tuning. *brian has almost single handedly done the swap, and has spent countless extra hours to ensure that the car runs with out problems. Spending about 1 1/2 hours with him wile test driving, I can say that he is exactly the kind of person that you would want to buy swapped car from. If all of the shops that do swaps had the same zealot need for perfect functionality, we would all here allot less horror stories. Though he admitted that he was still kind of "new" to the car tuning seen, (bout 1 1/2 yrs if I remember correctly). He proved to me that he defiantly knew what he was talking about, as I probed him for as much information about this swap as possible. the exhaust is a full 3" turbo back, and as I followed him to a near by lot, the exhaust note was VARY quiet, defiantly the quietest 3" that I have heard in some time, the tip also has a turn-down, which helps to keep that car inauspicious. *the only "problem" that I had with the car was the already noted transmision. Third does indeed "stick", but once I got the hang of it was not a problem. *the car as is (when I saw it) WORTH allot more than what he asking for, thus being that much more unfortunate that I can not purchase it. *whoever gets this car, the only suggestions that I would offer would be to get a transmision built for the current + potential power of the swap. Perhaps an MR2 tranny. w/ that standards. That and at least an A/F controller or a piggy-back. As that motor is currently working on the JDM ECU. thank you, and good luck mandrek -------------------- |
