Ok, same buddy having different problems.
Whenever he is driving, and it gets up to a certain temperature (just over halfway on the gauge), the engine will just shut off, and will not restart until it cools down. But if you run the heater, it takes awhile before it shuts off.
Any ideas?

It is not overheating, there is no codes.
The Temp gauge just gets over the halfway mark and it shuts off, so unless the temp gauge is way off it shouldnt be over heating.
Its a 94 gt with a 3rd gen 3sgte
