Ok i need a new hobby do any of my fellow Celican have any Suggestions???

photography is a good one, im looking for a camera at the moment, what do you all suggest for a somewhat beginner that wants a camera that will be sufficiant for a while.

If you don't want to buy a DSLR, try Canon Powershot S3IS You can get one for around $300 these days. 12x zoom, 6MP, shutter priority mode, aperture priority mode, manual mode, flip-up LCD screen, 30fps movie, macro to 0", mechanical image stabilizer, ultrasonic lens, and you can add adapter tube on it (for filters, etc..) It can't get better than that. My camera:
